About the Role: Team Leader – Inside Sales
We are looking for a results-driven
Team Leader – Inside Sales
who will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and driving performance of the inside sales team. This role requires a strong balance of leadership, sales acumen, and operational efficiency to ensure high conversion rates and team productivity.
You will work closely with the VP – Corporate Sales and play a key role in achieving revenue targets while building a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Inside Sales Executives to achieve individual and team sales targets
Monitor daily sales activities, track performance, and ensure timely follow-ups on inbound and outbound leads
Drive lead conversion by guiding the team on customer qualification, pitching, negotiation, and closure strategies
Develop and implement sales strategies to improve conversion rates and overall revenue generation
Handle key/critical client interactions and support the team in closing high-value deals
Ensure excellent customer experience throughout the sales journey
Maintain and review MIS reports, sales dashboards, and performance metrics
Conduct regular training, coaching, and feedback sessions to enhance team productivity
Collaborate with marketing and other teams to improve lead quality and pipeline management
Expand prospect database through LinkedIn, email campaigns, and other outreach channels
Ensure CRM hygiene and accurate data tracking
Requirements
Minimum
4–6 years of experience in Inside Sales
, with at least
1–2 years in a team handling role
Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and manage strict timelines
Strong analytical mindset with experience in reporting and performance tracking
Experience in e-commerce / D2C / consumer-focused industries is a plus
