Job Title:
Lead - Finance & Accounting
Key Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with US GAAP principles.
Minimum 4+ years of experience in accounting and finance operations
Minimum 2 years of experience in handling a team.
Experience handling US customers/US-based teams with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in General Ledger, Journal Entries, Reconciliations, Financial Statements, Accounts Receivable, and FLUX Analysis
Working knowledge of TDS, GST, vendor invoice processing, and statutory compliance
Experience with Oracle NetSuite preferred; knowledge of Oracle/ERP systems is an advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
Ability to work in a hybrid environment aligned partly with US time zones
Key Responsibilities
Ensure financial transactions comply with US GAAP and internal accounting policies
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
Prepare financial reports, variance analysis, budgets, and forecasts
Maintain accurate financial records, general ledger accounts, and reconciliations
Review vendor invoices and ensure proper accounting of TDS/GST in Oracle
Assist in audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
Develop and monitor financial controls, policies, and accounting processes
Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions
Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work accurately with large datasets and meet deadlines
