Required Skills:
Looking for Platform/Hardware Board Design Engineers with the following requirements, and this is an immediate requirement.
Extensive experience in hardware board designs and multiple product field deployment cycles meeting DFx, EoL, and certifications.
Capable of independently managing the team for schematic, design analysis DC drop, and signal integrity and coordinating reviews with peers of the layout, mechanical, SI teams.
Involved in at least two projects from high-level system design to final product-level deployment.
Strong foundation and expertise in analyzing digital, analog, and power electronic circuits.
Proficient with MCU/SoC, FPGAs, CPLDs, and MPSOC/RFSoC architecture-based board designs.
Sound exposure in transmission lines, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC concepts for digital & power electronics involving interfaces like PCIe, MIPI, USB, DDR/LPDDR & wireless interfaces.
Sourcing and procurement of electronic components, PCBs, and mechanical parts for cutting-edge IoT, embedded, and industrial product development.
Experienced in board bring-up using high-bandwidth scopes and analyzers, issue investigation, and triage in collaboration with firmware and software teams.
Skilled in preparing hardware design documentation, validation test planning, identifying necessary test equipment, test development, execution, debugging, and report preparation.
Should have good exposure in handling state of the art field deployable products with RF, Digital, Analog, Antenna systems related testing, validation, QA, certifications, and compliance procedures.
Hands-on experience with Cadence Allegro is mandatory. Altium & Mentor EDA tools is a plus.
Familiarity with scripting languages like Python and Perl and experience in automotive, BMS, rugged card design, and test automation is advantageous.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work with cross-functional teams, including post-silicon bench validation, BIOS, and driver development/QA.
