Job Responsibilities:
To independently handle Piping Modelling responsibilities of specific project for various marine system using various 3D software like Shipcon/Plant 3D/Aveva E3D/Aveva Marine.
To ensure all design work is safe and compliance with international codes & standards and overall technical integrity of project is maintained as per project specification.
Preparing of 3D design, Equipment Layout , piping layout, piping Isometric, Support design, Cable tray , HVAC modelling , Clash checking , MTO generation
To ensure all piping engineering work on the projects assigned is carried out within established budgets and schedules.
To participate and provide vital 3D-Model review, constructability review and value engineering reviews.
To provide all necessary piping assistance during construction, commissioning and start up phases by resolving piping related site technical queries on immediate basis.
Marking up all piping Isometrics and Layouts for As-built documentation
Good knowledge Ballast water treatment system retrofit projects (BWTS), Offshore & Marine Piping Systems.
Good knowledge of international codes & standards such as ASME/ ABS/ DNV/ ASTM is essential.
Qualification:
B.E/B.Tech Mechanical Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in Marine or offshore field In 3D modeling using Equipment Modeling & Layout, Pipe Modeling , Isometrics, Library & catalog update in Foran.
Desired profile of the candidates:
Good knowledge in design & modelling of Outfitting items.
Good Knowledge in Marine & Offshore field
Good analytical, planning and reporting skills
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
To independently handle piping engineering responsibilities of specific project.
To co-ordinate with other disciplines such as Mechanical equipment, Electrical, Civil /Structural and Instrumentation in subject to Interface issues.
Familiar with Point Cloud environment for retrofit projects.
