Job Title Lead Data Scientist Job Description Job title: Lead Data Scientist Philips Personal Health is transforming its Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Analytics landscape into a connected, AI-enabled, enterprise-scale analytics ecosystem powered by Azure Data Lake (ADL), advanced analytics, and AI. As part of this transformation, we are looking for a highly hands-on Lead Data Scientist to help build the next generation of Supply Chain Analytics and Decision Intelligence capabilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems using data, analytics, machine learning, and scalable data ecosystems. The role will work closely with Supply Chain, Commercial Analytics, Digital & IT, and Data Engineering teams to develop advanced analytics solutions and scalable AI-driven capabilities across the ISC domain. Unlike traditional reporting-focused analytics roles, this position requires strong technical depth, strong problem-solving capability, and the ability to work directly with enterprise-scale datasets, modern cloud data platforms, and advanced analytics methodologies.   Your role: Advanced Analytics & Data Science Develop advanced analytics and machine learning solutions across ISC domains including: Fill Rate Inventory optimization Demand forecasting Stock health analytics Supply-demand balancing Order management analytics Service level analytics Build predictive and prescriptive analytics models to improve operational and commercial decision-making. Perform deep-dive root cause analysis across supply chain and customer performance metrics. Support simulation and scenario-based analytics to enable proactive business decisions. ADL & Enterprise Data Ecosystem Work closely with Data Engineering and Digital & IT teams on ingestion and transformation of ISC data into the PH Azure Data Lake ecosystem. Support development of scalable Bronze-Silver-Gold data models and reusable analytics layers. Contribute to building standardized and scalable data foundations across ISC analytics. Ensure high data quality, consistency, and reliability across analytics solutions. AI & Automation Support development of AI/GenAI-enabled analytics capabilities and decision support systems. Contribute to intelligent automation initiatives across analytics workflows. Help enable conversational and agentic AI use cases within supply chain analytics ecosystems. Support scalable semantic modeling and analytics enablement initiatives. Analytics Product Development Design and develop scalable analytics solutions, dashboards, and decision-support tools. Translate business requirements into analytical frameworks and technical solutions. Work with cross-functional stakeholders to identify high-impact analytics opportunities. Contribute to continuous improvement and modernization of existing analytics solutions. Candidate Profile Required Experience 5–8 years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Supply Chain Analytics, or related domains. Strong hands-on experience working with large and complex datasets. Experience building predictive models, machine learning solutions, and advanced analytical frameworks. Experience working in cloud-based data ecosystems and enterprise analytics environments. Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions. Ability to work in highly collaborative and cross-functional environments. Required Technical Expertise Python SQL Databricks Azure Data Lake (ADL) Machine Learning & Statistical Modeling Forecasting & Optimization techniques Data wrangling and feature engineering Dashboarding and analytics visualization tools Advanced analytical problem solving Experience with AI/GenAI frameworks is a strong plus Preferred Experience Experience in Supply Chain Analytics, Operations Analytics, or Commercial Analytics. Experience working with enterprise-scale data models and modern cloud architectures. Familiarity with semantic layers, reusable data products, and scalable analytics ecosystems. Exposure to AI-enabled analytics or agentic AI frameworks. Experience working in global matrix organizations. How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This role is an office role.
