About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business executive consultant for CIB Markets Business Execution Services (BES) team
In this role, you will:
Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of
Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning
experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
4+ years of experience
in Business Execution, Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Data / Reporting‑led project delivery within Financial Services or Capital Markets environments.
Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle
, with working exposure to Sales, Trading, and Markets support functions, including post‑trade, controls, and reporting touchpoints.
Demonstrated ability to deliver
high‑quality analytics, MIS, and execution support
, with
strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and control discipline

Strong

Proven experience in
data analysis, reconciliation, mapping, and transformation

Advanced proficiency in
report creation and presentation

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
, with the ability to produce
executive‑ready, audit‑defensible materials

Hands‑on experience with
data visualization and reporting tools

Power BI, QlikView, Tableau
, or similar platforms.
Strong Alteryx experience
and demonstrated ability to
tell a clear business story through data

Working knowledge of
SharePoint (sites/pages), Microsoft Lists

Strong proficiency across the

Partner closely with
Markets COO business managers
to understand business priorities, regulatory expectations, and execution requirements, and provide day‑to‑day operational and analytical support.
Support
regulatory and governance‑related activities
across multiple Markets desks and Lines of Business (Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Commodities, etc.), including
transaction‑level reviews, testing support, and documentation
, in line with established procedures and controls.
Perform
transactional testing, validations, and reviews
across Front Office / COO‑owned processes, ensuring outputs are accurate, traceable, and supported by appropriate evidence.
Develop, maintain, and enhance
standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and checklists
to support consistent execution across regulatory regimes, internal policies, and Markets processes.
Carry out
data reconciliations across multiple trade booking and reporting systems
, identify breaks or anomalies, and actively coordinate with Trading desks, COO teams, and business managers to support resolution and root‑cause analysis.
Prepare
executive‑ready presentations, dashboards, and briefing materials
for monthly and ad‑hoc reviews with senior leadership, ensuring clarity, data integrity, and concise storytelling.
Support ongoing
governance routines
, including tracking of actions, issues, and deliverables, with disciplined follow‑up and transparent reporting.
Continuously identify
efficiency opportunities and improvement ideas
within day‑to‑day activities, leveraging analytics, automation, and standardized approaches to deliver additional value to the Markets COO organization.
Contribute to
process improvement and transformation initiatives
, including the use of reporting, automation, and data‑driven solutions to reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and improve scalability.
Work effectively in a
global, cross‑regional Markets BES environment
, supporting seamless execution across time zones and stakeholder groups.
