As we continue scaling our dark store and delivery network, efficient last-mile operations remain critical to ensuring fast, reliable, and high-quality service for our customers.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly energetic and execution-focused Last Mile Intern to support day-to-day delivery operations and rider management across assigned dark stores. This role provides hands-on exposure to quick commerce logistics, rider operations, dispatch coordination, and operational problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on-ground, coordinating with riders and warehouse teams, and handling operational challenges in real time.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Last Mile Operations Support:
• Support daily last-mile delivery operations across assigned dark stores
• Coordinate with riders and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order dispatch
• Monitor delivery flow and assist in minimizing delays and order escalations
• Track order status and support operational issue resolution in real time
B. Rider Coordination & Management:
• Assist in rider onboarding and daily attendance tracking
• Coordinate rider allocation and shift planning based on operational requirements
• Ensure riders follow operational SOPs and delivery timelines
• Support rider communication during peak hours and operational escalations
C. Operational Monitoring & Reporting:
• Maintain operational trackers including rider attendance, delivery status, and issue logs
• Share daily operational updates and escalation reports with reporting managers
• Monitor productivity and support process improvement initiatives
• Assist in maintaining smooth coordination between warehouse and last-mile teams
D. Field Execution & Problem Solving:
• Visit operational sites and support on-ground execution activities
• Resolve basic operational and delivery-related issues with internal coordination
• Support peak-hour operations and surge management activities
• Identify operational gaps and escalate issues proactively
What We’re Looking For:
• Graduate or pursuing graduation in any discipline
• Strong interest in operations, logistics, or supply chain management
• Comfortable working in field and warehouse environments
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and execution-driven environment
• Basic knowledge of Google Sheets / Excel is preferred
• Comfortable with rotational shifts and operational work schedules
Good to Have:
• Prior internship or exposure in logistics, warehouse, delivery, or operations environment
• Understanding of quick commerce, e-commerce, or supply chain operations
• Familiarity with rider or fleet coordination processes
