Role Overview:
The role involves supporting land mortgage transactions, ensuring legal compliance, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for smooth execution of documentation and registration processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the creation of land mortgages in compliance with applicable state laws
Coordinate with lenders, financial institutions, and legal counsels for seamless transaction execution
Collaborate with internal land and project teams to collate and review land-related documents
Support the preparation and review of Title Search Reports (TSR) and identify potential legal risks
Facilitate vetting, execution, and finalization of mortgage and security documents
Ensure proper documentation, registration, and maintenance of records for all mortgage transactions
Track and manage Conditions Precedent (CPs) and ensure adherence to documentation timelines
Liaise with external law firms for due diligence and documentation requirements
Ensure compliance with state-specific land, registration, and legal regulations
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of land laws and mortgage processes
Knowledge of Title Search Reports and legal due diligence
Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Stakeholder coordination and communication skills
Ability to manage timelines and multiple transactions
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB)
0–3 years of relevant experience in land acquisition, real estate, or mortgage transactions
