Roles and Responsibilities
Setup predefined Watering schedules of different plants, monitor, and control of adherence of schedules
Setup predefined Nutrition schedules of different plants, monitor, and control of adherence of schedules
Monitor the Weeding, pruning needs of different plants and plan predefined and ad-hoc schedules, and execute
Monitor disease symptoms of different plants and plan preventive and corrective actions. Record all decease incidents and document the protocols followed to cure them.
Manage the Layout of the Zone, Inventory limits of each batch, varieties, species, etc.
Monitor the stock and quality of each plant and plan replenishment schedules.
Plan and perform spot propagation and other small-scale production activities in respective zones. Forecast plan the material requirement ahead of time like covers, pots, etc.
Grading of all incoming plants into the inventory
Professional upkeep of the Zone, attending to customer needs
Overall cleanliness of the Layout at all times, accurate upkeep of Plant Display boards, Price cards, Inventory boards, Direction boards, Selfie Points, and the Customer Lounge area. Plant Health Monitoring & taking Corrective Actions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in horticulture, landscaping, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of plant biology, soil science, and horticultural practices.
Excellent problem-solving and observational skills.
Ability to operate and maintain horticultural equipment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a passion for horticulture.
Certification in horticulture may be advantageous.
