Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation:
Operate JCB machines to perform various tasks such as digging, trenching, loading, grading, and material handling.
Follow instructions from site supervisors and engineers to complete work according to project specifications.
Ensure that the JCB is operated in a safe and efficient manner, avoiding damage to the machine, property, and personnel.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while operating the JCB.
Conduct daily pre-start inspections of the machine to ensure it is in proper working condition.
Report any safety hazards, mechanical issues, or malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
Maintenance and Inspection:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, lubricating moving parts, and cleaning the machine.
Keep records of maintenance and report any major repairs needed to the maintenance team.
Ensure that the machine is kept clean and stored securely when not in use.
Site Preparation:
Assist in preparing the worksite, including setting up barriers, signs, and other safety measures.
Clear debris and obstacles from the work area to ensure safe operation.
Assist with other tasks on the site as directed, such as loading and unloading materials or setting up equipment.
