Job Title: Senior Associate – Software Development (Java Full Stack)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated
Senior Associate
with strong expertise in
Java, Oracle Database, and React JS
to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using
Java, Oracle (PL/SQL), and React JS
Collaborate with Business Analysts and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and implementation of software components
Participate in
code reviews
and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Contribute to
Agile development processes
including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions by analyzing logs and application behavior
Maintain version control using
Git
and ensure proper branching strategies
Work with cloud-based deployments and development environments on
AWS
Required Skills & Experience
3 to 5 years
of experience in software development
Strong programming experience in
Java / J2EE
Hands-on experience with
Oracle database (SQL, PL/SQL)
Front-end development experience using
React JS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Experience with
Git-based source control systems
Exposure to
AWS (development/deployment level)
Good understanding of
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
and Agile methodologies
Core Competencies
Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a
collaborative team environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Good to Have
Experience working in
Financial Services domain
(preferred)
Familiarity with frameworks such as
Spring Boot / Microservices architecture
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
