Supporting Deloitte Australia as part of the ITS Cloud and Infrastructure team across server, cloud, storage, and data center environments
Assisting with development and growth of the Deloitte hybrid cloud infrastructure, including virtualized networking
Performing problem resolution, root cause analysis, and identification of improvement opportunities across infrastructure services
Developing automation and orchestration solutions to streamline current processes and support deployment of Deloitte Information Technology projects
Maintaining, monitoring, securing, and updating the infrastructure environment using approved toolsets, while communicating progress through status reporting
Undertaking assigned activities independently, supporting lessons learned initiatives, and contributing to team and stakeholder engagement
The team
The Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for providing support for all activities related to public cloud and infrastructure on the x86 platform architecture for all types of servers and Operating Systems for Deloitte. The ITS Cloud Technologies team support the internal IT Infrastructure used by all Deloitte Staff, focusing on Server, Cloud, Storage, and Data Centres.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 06.30 AM to 03.30 PM
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, computer science, or equivalent
3+ years of professional experience in a large server environment
Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Experience implementing Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure services in distributed computing environments
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
Experience supporting Windows or Linux operating systems
Knowledge of Internet Protocol networking, virtual private networks, Domain Name System, load balancing, and firewalls
Preferred:
Experience with Cisco Unified Computing System, NetApp systems, or similar infrastructure platforms
Experience with scripting using PowerShell or JavaScript
Experience with software-defined networking such as VMware NSX or Cisco Identity Services Engine
Experience with Microsoft Internet Information Services, Active Directory, or domain services
Experience with Infoblox or similar Domain Name System and Internet Protocol address management tools
Experience with application programming interface management or DevOps and continuous integration frameworks
