Job Summary:
The IT System Administrator is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, including computers, servers, networks, software applications, CCTV systems, and security systems. The role involves installation, configuration, troubleshooting, performance optimization, user management, data backup, cybersecurity, and end-user support to ensure smooth and secure IT operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain system performance, uptime, and IT security.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize hardware, software, servers, and network systems.
Manage Windows/Linux operating systems, applications, and network devices.
Create, modify, and delete employee user IDs, email accounts, and access permissions.
Handle biometric device enrolment, updates, and employee access management.
Perform regular system and data backups and ensure successful recovery testing.
Develop, implement, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users.
Maintain IT asset inventory including desktops, laptops, printers, networking devices, and accessories.
Monitor CCTV camera surveillance systems and maintain regular CCTV backup storage.
Ensure proper functionality of DVR/NVR systems, surveillance recordings, and camera connectivity.
Monitor antivirus, firewall, endpoint security, and access control systems.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, AMC support, and system upgrades.
Maintain documentation for systems, network configurations, IT assets, and operational procedures.
Ensure proper internet connectivity, Wi-Fi management, and LAN troubleshooting.
Support installation and maintenance of software applications, ERP systems, and licensed software.
Stay updated with the latest technology trends, software updates, and cybersecurity practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
BE / B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Experience in networking concepts including LAN, WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Familiarity with CCTV systems, biometric systems, and access control management.
Understanding of backup solutions, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity practices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and vendor coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and provide timely technical support.

CCNA / Networking Certifications
Cybersecurity Certifications (Preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant IT administration experience preferred.
