Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and digital tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Consultative Selling: Conduct "discovery calls" to understand a client's pain points and recommend specific technical solutions. Product Demonstrations: Present software or hardware capabilities to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Pipeline Management: Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing, maintaining records in a CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Negotiation: Draft proposals and negotiate contract terms, pricing, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Collaboration: Work closely with Solution Architects and Engineers to ensure the proposed technology is feasible for the client. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Literacy: Ability to understand and explain cloud computing, cybersecurity, APIs, or infrastructure basics. Communication: Strong presentation skills and the ability to translate "tech-speak" into business value. Resilience: A results-driven mindset with the ability to handle rejection and long sales cycles. Education: Typically a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or IT. Experience: 2–5 years in B2B sales (for mid-level roles) and proficiency with CRM software Core Competencies Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
