<p><strong>Role Summary </strong></p>
<p>Responsible for the matrix management of project teams and the oversight of designing and implementing complex technology projects, primarily related to Real Estate development, End User, and Network projects.</p>
<p>This involves delivering projects across all disciplines, collaborating closely across regions and multiple Technology workstreams and LOB (line of business), while engaging with senior managers and stakeholders within the organization.</p>
<ul>
<li>Tasked with managing a range of infrastructure projects, with a particular emphasis on corporate fit outs, office relocations, and desktop technology deployments.</li>
<li>Ensure all projects are delivered with high quality, on scope, on time & on budget.</li>
<li>Ensure governance and control over all project financials, including the development of business cases, forecasting, and understanding profit and loss as well as depreciation.</li>
<li>Keep all projects on track, escalating decisions to executive sponsors as needed.</li>
<li>Organize the design and development of the project.</li>
<li>Ensure risk management strategies are followed and reviewed according to guidelines.</li>
<li>Plan and set project goals and milestones based on the approved Charter/Statement of Works.</li>
<li>Identify and secure resources, including the project team, vendors, and consultants.</li>
<li>Effectively detect and resolve project risks and issues. § Lead the project team.</li>
<li>Ensure project management standards and rigor are applied.</li>
<li>Develop communications for the executive sponsor and project stakeholders; conduct regular briefings and status updates.</li>
<li>Serve as the single point of contact for project-level risks, issues, questions, and escalations.</li>
<li>Prepare and/or provide project reporting, metrics, scorecards, etc.</li>
<li>Partner with key stakeholders to identify project interdependencies that may influence project success.</li>
<li>Support the team in distributing project information to executive management and key stakeholders.</li>
<li>Create an environment that fosters trust and collaboration with others, exhibiting a strategic business focus with a customer-oriented perspective.</li>
<li>Recognize areas for internal improvement and develop plans for implementing them.</li>
<li>Comply with company standards and procedures. § Manage budget and financial aspects, including the completion of business cases.</li>
<li>Evaluate the impact on Total Cost of Ownership for multiple simultaneous, complex projects.</li>

<p><strong>Work Experience </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Substantial IT Project Management experience, or relevant business or team leadership</li>
<li>7+ years’ experience with projects in multiple technologies & functions</li>
<li>Extensive experience in managing projects through all phases of the life cycle and expert working knowledge of an industry recognized Project Management methodology</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of industry standard project management tools for financial and project reporting (Clarity, Service Now, Microsoft Project)</li>
<li>Formal project management training and discipline knowledge required</li>
<li>Knowledge of technologies, systems, drivers and trends in global investment banking environments backed by a solid understanding of the banking industry fundamentals</li>
<li>Awareness of Agile Project Management techniques would be beneficial.</li>
<li>An understanding of line of business technology drivers § Knowledge and understanding of banking regulatory, compliance, risk and security aspects</li>
<li>Proven experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work groups</li>
<li>Knowledge of Permit to Build and Permit to Operate</li>
<li>Extensive experience with multi-million-dollar projects with high complexity and client focus.</li>
<li>Proven experience at delivering high quality projects on time & within budget</li>
<li>Extensive experience at presenting metrics to key stakeholders</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills across functions and teams, up and down the chain of command</li>
<li>Listening and gathering customer/user inputs. Simplifying complex topics for non-technical audiences and preparing quick pointed summaries for executives and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Ability to motivate Project teams</li>
<li>Strong leadership & good analytical skills § Proven negotiation & influencing skills</li>
<li>Strong stakeholder management & customer focus</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of IT environment and working with external Service Providers / Vendors.</li>

<p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferably in the financial services industry</li>
<li>PMP / PRINCE or other formal project management discipline preferred, familiarity with Agile delivery practices beneficial</li>
<li>Excellent oral & written communication across functions and teams, up and down the chain of command</li>
<li>Proven ability to lead project teams in delivering on time, high quality solutions</li>
<li>Experience with Project Task Estimation, Resource Scheduling, Risk Management, and Issue Management</li>
