Infrastructure Engineer II supports the administration, optimization, and ongoing reliability of enterprise monitoring platforms used to maintain operational visibility across the technology environment. This role focuses on monitoring tool administration, reporting, dashboard development, incident support, and continuous improvement of monitoring services. The position also works closely with internal stakeholders, operations teams, and vendor support to help enhance service delivery through automation, analytics, and operational discipline.

Administering and maintaining enterprise monitoring platforms, including Dynatrace, SolarWinds Orion, NetBrain, and ThousandEyes
Supporting incident management activities by collaborating with the Technical Operations Centre and assisting with issue resolution during outages and critical events
Creating and maintaining monitoring dashboards, reports, and operational outputs based on requests from internal teams and stakeholders
Managing monitoring platform operations in alignment with change management processes, reliability standards, security requirements, and disaster recovery expectations
Identifying opportunities to improve monitoring services through automation, analytics, and continual service improvement initiatives

The team supports enterprise monitoring capabilities that help technology and business stakeholders maintain visibility into infrastructure health, performance, and service operations. Team members work across monitoring platforms, operational processes, and reporting needs to support service reliability, issue response, and continuous improvement across the environment.

Qualifications
Required:
4-6 years of IT experience with technical exposure to networks, hardware, storage, operating systems, applications, and enterprise environments
3+ years of experience supporting enterprise monitoring tools or observability platforms
Experience administering one or more monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace, SolarWinds Orion, NetBrain, or ThousandEyes
Experience creating dashboards, reports, or operational reporting outputs for technology stakeholders
Experience supporting incident management, issue resolution, or production operations processes
Experience with Python scripting
Preferred:
Experience using ServiceNow
Knowledge of information technology service management principles
ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 certification
Experience using reporting tools to collect, analyze, and present operational data
Experience working with information technology governance processes
Experience maintaining ticket updates in a ticket-driven support environment
