Job Description: Job Title: IT Business Analyst/Functional Analyst - Real Estate Funds Platform Location: Pune, India Corporate Title: AVP Role Description As an IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for Working with front office/middle office teams to define upcoming business challenges and determining required technology solutions Development and maintenance of standard project artifacts including business requirements documents, test cases and project plans Working with global teams and third-party IT developers to translate business requirements into functional specifications Analyze large data sets, process flows and reporting flows Analyze and document current state systems flows and processes to bring transparency to the complexity and interdependence between systems and data Work with development teams and architects to design and implement technology solutions with a high level of quality, flexibility and scalability Perform system integration testing Coordinate end user testing and plan rollout Work with the business to establish priorities & provide regular status updates Perform root cause analysis on production issues and provide recommendations to mitigate risk and preventive actions We are looking for Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst/Functional Analyst within a financial services environment Experience within Asset Management, with a knowledge of Real Estate Fund Finance platforms or Private Credit Business would be a bonus Ability to use tools to create project artifacts such as business requirements, process maps, functional specifications and testing scripts Ability to partner with various front / middle office teams and development teams to achieve objectives and execute or drive project plan as required Demonstrated success with typical Business Analyst deliverables: business requirements, functional specifications, system/workflow diagrams, functional test plans documentation and execution Advance skills in MS applications Strong data analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work with large data sets, process flows and reporting flows Working knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies About DWS Today, markets face a whole new set of pressures – but also a whole lot of opportunity too. It covers essential Technology and Operations capabilities, aiming to deliver a platform which is efficient, scalable, resilient and agile.  This role is within DWS Global Technology, within the team supporting our Alternative Investments platform.  Additional Job Description This role is within the DWS Global Technology - Alternatives team and will support the Alternatives businesses, focusing on Real Estate Equity products initially.  The Business Functional Analyst is responsible for capturing and documenting the full range of requirements, translating these requirements into system specific functional specifications to enable solution development, analyzing the impact of changes and supporting the business throughout the implementation process. They are also responsible for the production of business-facing documentation such as user manuals and solution briefs. Asset Management Domain Knowledge 5+ years’ experience working within Asset Management business Strong understanding of Real Estate Markets and operational processes Candidate must have experience implementing process changes Understanding of Asset Management business Understanding of Alternatives asset classes Technical Skills 5+ year’s expertise in Asset Management, Portfolio Management and/or Fund Finance systems Ability to use tools to create project artifacts such as business requirements, process maps, functional specifications and testing scripts Advance skills in MS applications Must possess strong data analytical skills and attention to details  Data / Technical architecture experience Ability to work with large data sets, process flows and reporting flows Working knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies Soft Skills Ability to partner with various front / middle office teams and development teams to achieve objectives and execute or drive project plan as required Demonstrated success with typical Business Analyst deliverables: business requirements, functional specifications, system/workflow diagrams, functional test plans documentation and execution.
