About Medhavi Skills University
Medhavi Skills University (MSU) is a government-notified private skills university established under a State Act in Sikkim, dedicated to promoting quality skill education and entrepreneurship integrated with higher education. As a pioneering institution in the convergence of the skilling ecosystem with higher education, MSU aligns with the National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP 2020). Recognized by the UGC and established in 2021, MSU collaborates with industries and Skill Development Institutes to offer work-integrated courses, embedding on-the-job internships and training within the curriculum. MSU is a recognized Awarding Body under the National Council for Vocational Education & Training (NCVET) and is empaneled with the Directorate General of Training (DGT). As an anchor university partner with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and the Project Management Unit (PMU) of NSDC International, MSU is committed to preparing youth for the future workspace by co- working with industry partners to design and implement demand-driven programs.
Role Overview:
Responsible for supporting the Skill Qualification Development Department in obtaining industry validation for 200+ Skill Qualifications. The role involves industry outreach, coordination with HR and domain experts, documentation, follow-ups, and tracking of validations to ensure skill qualifications are aligned with current industry requirements.
Key Deliverables:
Draft Skill Qualification outlines (2–3 pages) in Word format as per prescribed guidelines.
Research and gather contact details of relevant industry stakeholders (initial focus on IT ITeS sector) from multiple sources.
Reach out to industry HR Heads and domain experts via email, sharing qualification outlines and validation formats.
Conduct regular follow-ups through emails and calls to ensure timely responses.
Coordinate and participate in industry visits within Delhi–NCR when invited.
Organize and coordinate industry visits in Kolkata, including internal stakeholder arrangements.
Record, compile, and share industry feedback with the MSU Skill Team for necessary revisions.
Collect completed validation documents and maintain accurate trackers and records.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Graduation.
Fresher or any Internship Experience into similar profile.
Good Communication Skills.
