Role Overview :
We are looking for a
Founder’s Office (Analytics) Intern
to work closely with the founders and the analytics / strategy team on some of the most critical, ambiguous problems in the organization. This role sits at the intersection of
data, strategy, and execution
.
You will take real business problems, break them down analytically, and build solutions using a mix of
data analysis, scripting, and AI-enabled tools
. This is not a reporting role - the output is decisions, systems, and frameworks that directly impact how the company operates and grows.
You should be comfortable working in an unstructured environment, thinking independently, and moving fast from problem statement to solution.
Key Responsibilities :
You will work on high-impact projects such as:
Build and own analytical solutions end-to-end, from defining the problem to implementing and iterating on the solution.
Design and develop
automated systems
(e.g., a fully automated bank account reconciliation engine) using data, scripts, and AI tools.
Perform deep-dive analyses to support
strategic decisions
, including:
Sales incentive structure design
Annual Operating Plan (AOP) modelling and tracking
Pricing and unit economics analysis
Write scripts and use AI-assisted workflows to automate repetitive or complex analytical tasks.
Translate messy, real-world business data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Work directly with founders and senior stakeholders to present findings, challenge assumptions, and refine decisions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys
thinking from first principles
, is hands-on with data and tools, and wants exposure to how core business decisions are actually made.
Requirements :
Strong academic foundation in
Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering
or a related quantitative field.
Demonstrated
analytical and problem-solving ability
- comfortable breaking down open-ended business problems into structured, solvable parts.
Hands-on proficiency with
SQL, Excel
and Python (good to have
)
; working knowledge of at least one visualization or BI tool such as
QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI
, or equivalent.
Ability to work with large, messy datasets and turn them into
clear insights and recommendations
.
Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to explain complex analysis simply to non-technical stakeholders.
Highly
detail-oriented, organized
, and comfortable owning tasks end-to-end.
Comfortable working in a
fast-moving, unstructured environment
with direct exposure to founders and senior leadership.
