The Interface & Integration Manager for the System Package is responsible for managing, coordinating, and integrating all interfaces between the systems package (including signaling, telecom, power, rolling stock, etc.) and other internal/external stakeholders. This role ensures the seamless technical and operational integration of rail systems with civil works, stations, and third-party systems to deliver a fully functional high speed rail network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Management:
- Identify and engage all relevant stakeholders (client, civil works contractors, stations, other systems packages, authorities, suppliers).
- Facilitate effective communication, coordination, and resolution of interface and integration issues.
- Interface & Integration Coordination:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Interface & Integration Management Plan for systems.
- Coordinate technical interfaces between systems (signaling, telecom, power, rolling stock), civil works, stations, and other packages.
- Lead integration workshops and interface meetings to align design, installation, and testing activities.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain interface and integration registers/logs.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for management and stakeholders.
- Risk Management:
- Identify interface and integration risks; develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on risk status and resolution.
- Design & Construction Integration:
- Ensure system package design and construction activities are integrated with other packages (civil, stations, etc.).
- Oversee interface deliverables, compliance, and integration requirements per contract.
- Testing & Commissioning:
- Plan and coordinate integrated testing and commissioning of systems with other packages.
- Ensure all system interfaces are validated and verified prior to handover.
- Change Management:
- Assess and manage the impact of changes on interfaces and integration.
- Support the Change Control process for system interfaces.
- Compliance:
- Ensure all interfaces and integrations comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies for system approvals and certifications.
