This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

What you’ll do:
Responsibilities:
Own and operate
AWS infrastructure
powering CloudLabs (EKS, ECS, EC2, S3, networking, IAM, observability)
Design and implement
new infrastructure solutions
using
Terraform
as the primary infrastructure-as-code tool
Improve, refactor, and standardize
existing Terraform codebases
for reliability, security, and cost efficiency
Build, maintain, and evolve
Helm charts
for Kubernetes-based services
Collaborate with application engineers to support deployments, troubleshooting, and production readiness
Automate operational workflows and reduce toil through infrastructure and tooling
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and long-term reliability improvements
Must-have qualifications
Strong, hands-on experience with AWS
, including:
EKS, ECS, EC2, S3 (and related networking and IAM components)
Production experience with Terraform
:
Designing reusable modules
Managing state safely
Handling multi-environment deployments
Strong
systems fundamentals
:
Linux administration and troubleshooting
Bash / shell scripting
Python for automation and internal tooling
Experience operating
Kubernetes
workloads in production
Hands-on experience authoring and maintaining
Helm charts
Strong
communication skills
:
Able to clearly explain infrastructure design choices
Comfortable working closely within a small, cross-functional team
What you need to bring:
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree
Typically 2 to 5 years experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
Nice to have
Advanced Terraform practices (remote state backends, workspaces vs environments, CI validation)
Observability tooling (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, logs/metrics/tracing)
Experience with multi-region or globally distributed systems
CI/CD pipeline design and deployment automation
SRE mindset: reliability engineering, postmortems, capacity planning, error budgets
Small team,
