Role Description-
Automation Support & Operations
:-Level 2 automation support: monitor, troubleshoot, recover failures, execute jobs across environments, resolve/escalate incidents, and ensure ITIL compliance.
AAP Migration Support:
-Support AAP migrations by assisting with playbooks, inventories, roles, templates, credentials, and integrations; validate workloads in lower environments; and ensure post‑migration stabilization through monitoring and issue reporting.
Automation Development & Enhancement
:-Enhanced automation playbooks and scripts per change requests; migrated legacy scripts (Shell, Perl, Python, PowerShell) to Ansible; and applied CI/CD and version control practices for automation updates.
Documentation & Knowledge Management:
-Created and maintained SOPs, run books, and automation documentation; ensured alignment with current platform versions; and supported knowledge transfer and onboarding for automation tools and processes.
Core Technical Skills -
Hands‑on experience with Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) in enterprise environments.
Experience working in large infrastructure environments, including: On‑premises infrastructure Multi‑cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Working knowledge of VMware, Storage systems, and Databases (Oracle, SQL, etc.).
Proficiency in Linux Shell scripting.
Working knowledge of Python / Perl / PowerShell, with ability to support migration of scripts to Ansible.
Understanding of automation integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
Preferred Skills -
ITIL Foundation certification (preferred).
Exposure to monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, etc.
Total Experience Expected: 06-08 years
Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent.
