We are seeking a motivated Information Security Analyst to join our Security Operations team. This role focuses on monitoring security systems, assisting with identity and access management processes, and supporting vulnerability management and incident response activities.
You will work closely with senior security and infrastructure engineers to help protect the organization from emerging cyber threats while gaining hands-on experience across multiple areas of security operations.
This position is well suited for someone early in their security career who is eager to learn and develop practical security skills.
Security Monitoring & Operations
• Monitor security alerts and system activity across security tools and infrastructure platforms
• Identify and escalate suspicious activity or potential security incidents
• Assist in gathering logs and data during security investigations
• Help maintain dashboards and alerting within security monitoring systems
Identity & Access Management
• Assist with user provisioning and de-provisioning across systems including AD, Okta, and SAP
• Support access requests and role changes following least privilege principles
• Maintain and update access documentation and security matrices
• Ensure proper approvals and documentation for access changes
Vulnerability Management
• Assist with running and reviewing vulnerability scans using tools such as Rapid7
• Track remediation activities and work with IT teams to address identified risks
Security Awareness & Documentation
• Assist in developing and updating security awareness materials for employees
• Help document incidents, security findings, and operational procedures
Compliance & Security Operations Support
• Assist with collecting evidence and documentation for security audits and compliance initiatives
• Support internal security reviews and remediation tracking
• Participate in security improvement initiatives and operational projects
Qualifications
• 1–3 years of experience in Information Security, IT, or related technical roles
• Basic understanding of information security principles, networking, and system security
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM platforms, endpoint protection, or vulnerability scanners (preferred)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Strong interest in learning and growing within the cybersecurity field
Preferred Skills
• Experience with IAM platforms (AD, Okta, or similar)
• Familiarity with vulnerability management tools (Rapid7, Nessus, etc.)
• Exposure to security monitoring or SIEM platforms
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, or SOX
