As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.

Responsibilities:
Develop,
maintain
and improve Java applications using Java, Spring Boot microservices, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective fixes.
Mandatory skill sets:
Technical Skill
· Hands-on experience in developing solutions using
Java,
Spring Boot microservices.
· Understanding of design patterns, architecture components, best practices
· Hands-on experience and conceptual understanding of authentication, authorization, exception handling,
caching
, gateway, config, logging, synchronous & asynchronous communication, batch, integration, thread, encryption, inter-service communication, unit testing.
· Extensive knowledge in designing, implementing & supporting REST/SOAP services.
· Experience in supporting security and performance issue resolution.

Understanding of
DevOps, Source Code management
tool
.
· Experience in design documentation.

Exposure to
database components – tables, views, functions, store procedures.
