As a SAP consulting generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing consulting services across various SAP applications to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of SAP applications. Responsibilities:
SAP RE-FX Implementation & Support
Lead or support SAP RE-FX module implementations including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live.
Configure real estate objects such as business entities, buildings, rental objects, and contracts.
Implement lease-in and lease-out processes in compliance with IFRS 16 and ASC 842 standards.
Functional Expertise
Manage contract lifecycle including creation, amendment, renewal, and termination.
Configure condition types, posting parameters, and settlement rules.
Handle periodic postings, accruals, and revenue recognition.
Support real estate portfolio management and reporting.
Integration & Collaboration
Integrate SAP RE-FX with SAP FI/CO, MM, and Asset Accounting modules.
Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to align real estate processes with business needs.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) for lease accounting.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for lease obligations, contract status, and financial impact.
Documentation & Training
Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and user manuals.
Conduct training sessions for end-users and support teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
5–10 years of experience in SAP RE-FX implementations and support.
Strong understanding of:
Real estate master data and contract management
Lease accounting (IFRS 16, ASC 842)
Condition types and posting logic
Integration with FI/CO and AA
Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP RE-FX certification.
Experience with SAP Fiori apps for RE-FX.
Exposure to SAP Group Reporting or Real Estate Analytics.
Knowledge of legal and compliance aspects of lease management.
Experience in industries like retail, real estate, utilities, or public sector.
