We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will lead all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, compliance, employee engagement, and aligning people practices with business goals. This role combines strategic thinking, people management, legal compliance, and business partnering to support organisational growth and a strong workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process: develop job descriptions, source candidates, screen, interview, and onboard top talent.
Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and candidate profiles.
Prepare and extend job offers, negotiate terms, and facilitate offer acceptance.
2. Onboarding & Employee Integration
Ensure new hires are smoothly integrated into the organisation through a structured onboarding program.
Introduce employees to company culture, systems, and expectations to boost retention, engagement, and productivity from day one.
3. HR Policies & Change Management
Develop, update, and enforce HR policies aligned with legal standards and company culture (e.g., remote work, leave, attendance, conduct, mobile usage).
Support organisational transitions — such as technology changes, restructuring, or strategic growth — by guiding change communication, training, and staff support.
4. Payroll & Employee Benefits
Oversee the end‑to‑end payroll process ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory regulations.
Coordinate with finance on wage calculations, deductions, tax withholdings, reimbursements, and bonuses.
Act as the point of contact for employee payroll and benefits queries.
5. HR Information System (HRIS) Management
Maintain and update HRIS with new hires, exits, salary changes, performance records, and other data.
Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection standards.
6. Succession Planning
Identify high‑potential employees and prepare them for leadership roles.
Create and monitor development plans for emerging leaders.
7. Disciplinary & Termination Processes
Ensure fair, documented, and legally sound disciplinary actions and terminations.
Support managers in performance and conduct issues in line with policies.
Conduct exit interviews and manage final settlements and clearances.
8. Training, Learning & Development
Identify skill gaps, recommend training solutions, and track learning progress.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to roll out development programs.
9. Performance Management & Appraisals
Support a structured performance review process including KPI setting and feedback delivery.
Ensure fairness and consistency in evaluations.
10. Employee Engagement
Develop and execute initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Plan and implement employee engagement programs and events.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
Proven experience of atleast 8 years in HR roles, with at least
2 years in a managerial and strategic position
.
Strong knowledge of HRIS (e.g.,
KEKA
), ATS, and other HR technologies.
Solid understanding of Indian labour laws and compliance (e.g., Code on Wages, Industrial Relations Code, Social Security Code, Occupational Safety & Health Working Conditions Code, EPF, ESIC), with the ability to apply legal standards to HR processes and systems.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
