About this role

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and people-centric HR Manager to join our leadership team based in Vadodara, Gujarat. This is a strategic and hands-on role where you will own and drive the entire HR function — from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management, culture building, and HR operations. You will work closely with founders, business unit heads, and team leads to build systems, processes, and a thriving workplace culture that fuels company growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Talent Acquisition & Hiring Set up and manage the end-to-end hiring cycle — from requisition planning through sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer rollout. Oversee hiring progress to ensure all resource requisitions are fulfilled within defined timelines, working closely with business unit heads and team leads. Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs. Onboarding & Culture Integration Design and implement a structured onboarding framework that immerses new team members in the company’s culture, values, mission, and ways of working from Day 1. Ensure every new hire has a seamless and memorable joining experience that sets them up for success. Training, Development & Career Progression Oversee and coordinate training plans for the first 30 days, the probation period, and the continued growth journey of every team member. Establish clear career progression paths, define new roles, and set up promotion cycles in alignment with business goals. Conduct and facilitate smaller training sessions on culture, values, soft skills, and professional development as needed. Performance Management & Appraisals Set up and run the entire performance appraisal cycle by coordinating with managers, team leads, and founders. Define and implement KRAs and Goals for all team members in collaboration with business unit heads, team leads, and the corporate team — driving the KRA and Goals system throughout the year. Develop and execute Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) when required, with consistent monitoring and follow-up. People Operations & Employee Engagement Oversee attendance records, salary processing, leave management, and all HR operations workflows. Plan and coordinate company events, work anniversaries, birthday celebrations, and festival celebrations with the relevant teams. Monitor and support each team member’s progress, well-being, and growth — acting as a trusted advisor, go-to person, and advocate within the organisation. Culture, Values & Mindset Building Consistently develop, nurture, and maintain the right company culture and values across all teams and departments. Foster a growth mindset and ownership mindset across the entire organisation through initiatives, conversations, and leadership by example. Keep the workplace environment positive, energetic, and aligned with the company’s vision and values. HR Systems, Automation & Metrics Set up, manage, and optimise automation workflows in KEKA (HRMS) to maximise efficiency across all HR processes. Support the team in setting up, reviewing, monitoring, and reporting all HR metrics for the organisation, tracking achievement against plan. Review and implement the PARC Model (Performance, Alignment, Rewards, Culture) and proactively work on building systems and processes. Corporate Team Oversight Monitor and oversee the corporate functions including IT, Administration, Training, Finance, and other support teams. Track attendance, leave, workflows, and challenges within the corporate team and provide hands-on support as required. Proactive Leadership & Initiatives Take ownership of initiatives aligned to the company’s growth objectives and cultural values. Work proactively to identify gaps, set up new systems and processes, and drive continuous improvement across the HR function. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS 8–10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with significant exposure to HR management, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement. Strong educational background — MBA in HR / Post-Graduate Diploma in HRM or equivalent from a reputed institution preferred. Proven experience in setting up and running performance appraisal cycles, KRA/Goal frameworks, and career progression systems. Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms (KEKA strongly preferred) including automation workflows and reporting. Demonstrated ability to build and sustain a positive workplace culture and drive employee engagement at scale. Strong understanding of Indian labour laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with cross-functional teams, corporate functions, and senior leadership. WHO YOU ARE You don’t wait to be told.
