We are looking for a dynamic and people-focused HR Generalist to join our team in Chennai. This role requires someone who can seamlessly balance HR Business Partnering and Recruitment responsibilities while driving employee engagement, HR operations, and people initiatives aligned with business goals.
The ideal candidate should be smart, presentable, empathetic, and capable of building strong relationships across teams while ensuring smooth HR processes and a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end HR operations, including employee documentation, HRIS updates, onboarding, and employee records
Partner closely with business leaders and stakeholders to understand team requirements and support people-related initiatives
Drive employee engagement activities, training programs, and culture-building initiatives
Support recruitment activities including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, and hiring closure
Maintain recruitment trackers and ensure a smooth hiring process
Assist in employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance handling
Ensure compliance with company policies, HR processes, and legal standards
Analyze employee and recruitment data to identify trends related to engagement, hiring, and retention
Support implementation of HR policies, benefits administration, and organizational development initiatives
Act as a trusted HR partner while balancing operational and strategic HR responsibilities
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or related HR role
Strong understanding of HR operations, HR management, and HR policies
Hands-on experience in recruitment and employee engagement initiatives
Knowledge of employee benefits and benefits administration
Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to build effective relationships while maintaining confidentiality
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to adapt and work across both HRBP and Talent Acquisition responsibilities when required
