Job Title: HR Executive
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive to join our Human Resources team in an IT environment. The HR Executive will play a key role in managing various HR activities including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a good understanding of HR best practices, and a passion for technology and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition: Source, screen, and interview candidates for various technical and non-technical positions within the company.
Job Postings: Create and manage job postings on various job boards, company career page, and social media platforms.
Onboarding: Conduct new hire orientations, ensuring smooth integration of new employees into the organization and coordinating necessary training sessions.
Employee Engagement: Develop and implement employee engagement programs and activities to foster a positive work environment.
Conflict Resolution: Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and effectively, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between employees and management, and assist in organizing regular company meetings and events.
Appraisals: Assist in the performance appraisal process, including setting objectives, conducting evaluations, and providing constructive feedback.
Development Plans: Support the creation and implementation of employee development plans and training programs to enhance skills and career growth.
HR Policies: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant labor laws and regulations.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HR databases, and personnel files.
Reporting: Prepare HR reports and analytics as required by management to support data-driven decision making.
Event Coordination: Organize and coordinate company events, team-building activities, and training sessions.
HR Projects: Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes, enhancing employee experience, and supporting company growth.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in an HR role, preferably within the IT or software industry.
HRIS: Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and other HR-related software.
MS Office: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with using technology to streamline HR processes and enhance productivity.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, manage conflicts, and work collaboratively.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Certifications: HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the IT industry and its specific HR challenges and requirements.
