This role is responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle — from sourcing and hiring to onboarding, development, and exit — while ensuring HR processes, policies, and documentation are executed accurately and in compliance with applicable laws.
The HR Executive will serve as a key point of contact for employees and managers, supporting employee relations, performance processes, engagement initiatives, policy interpretation, and end-to-end recruitment. This role requires collaboration across teams to address people's concerns, support managerial decisions, and promote a positive workplace culture in a fast-paced IT/technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Manage the full recruitment cycle — sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding handoff — across all roles in collaboration with hiring managers
Write and post accurate Job Descriptions; coordinate and schedule interviews using structured scorecards; ensure BGV is completed before the candidate's joining date
Maintain and track the recruitment pipeline in ATS/tracker; report weekly status to Head of HR and flag delays against the < 30-day time-to-hire target
Ensure a professional candidate experience throughout; track offer-to-joining ratio and support employer branding initiatives such as campus drives and job fairs
2. Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations
Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, induction, probation confirmations, role changes, promotions, and exits
Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and HRMIS data (physical and digital)
Ensure smooth HR operations aligned with company policies and processes
Prepare and issue employment letters, confirmation letters, experience letters, and other HR documents
3. HR Policies, Compliance & Documentation
Implement, communicate, and interpret HR policies and SOPs
Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and internal policies
Maintain and regularly update HR documentation, manuals, and records
Support audits and ensure HR documentation is audit-ready at all times
4. Attendance, Leave & Payroll Coordination
Manage attendance, leave, and WFH tracking and reconciliation
Monitor leave balances, approvals, and discrepancies
Coordinate with payroll/accounts teams for monthly payroll inputs, revisions, and deductions
Support statutory compliances (PF, ESIC, gratuity) through consultant coordination
5. People Partnering, Employee Relations & Performance Support
Act as a people partner to managers and teams for day-to-day people matters
Guide managers on performance management, employee concerns, discipline, and policy interpretation
Support performance management processes including appraisals, reviews, KPIs, and PIPs
Handle employee grievances, conflict resolution, and sensitive people matters with confidentiality
Proactively identify people-related risks and escalate concerns appropriately
6. Employee Engagement, Culture & Communication
Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, events, and recognition programs
Promote a positive, disciplined, and inclusive workplace culture
Act as a bridge between employees and management to improve engagement and communication
Support internal HR communication and announcements
7. Training, Development & HR Coordination
Coordinate internal training and learning initiatives
Maintain training calendars, attendance, and records
Support leadership in organizing workshops, skill sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Coordinate with admin teams on HR-related office matters and employee access
Desired Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist with hands-on recruitment exposure, preferably in an IT, software, or agency environment
Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment — sourcing to onboarding — across technical and non-technical roles
Strong understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and Indian labour laws
Hands-on experience with attendance, leave management, and payroll coordination
Ability to act as a people partner for managers and teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong interpersonal skills to handle employee and candidate interactions across all levels
