Job Summary
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness of the premises, including resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. This position ensures a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for all occupants and guests.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain overall cleanliness and sanitation in resident rooms, bathrooms, and public/common areas.
Perform scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming, polishing, dusting, and cleaning of windows.
Use disinfectants and germicides appropriately to ensure hygiene standards.
Monitor housekeeping supply inventory and notify the supervisor when replenishment is required.
Clean and maintain housekeeping tools and equipment.
Respond courteously and promptly to residents’ or guests’ special requests.
Identify and report safety hazards and maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
Collect soiled linen and assist with laundry operations as needed.
Properly dispose of garbage and waste from assigned areas.
Restock toiletries and hygiene supplies such as toilet paper, soaps, paper towels, etc.
Educational Qualification
Minimum Education
: 8th Standard Pass
