Position: Digital Test Analyst(Manual)
Experience: 4–7 years
Location: Hyderabad/Mohali/Kochi.
Time Zone: Starts from 7:00 AM IST
Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manual Tester with hands-on experience in Web, Mobile, and API testing. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of the software testing lifecycle (STLC), and the ability to ensure product quality through systematic testing.
Key Responsibilities
Design, document, and execute
test cases, test scenarios, and test data
for web, mobile, and API applications.
Perform
functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
.
Conduct
API testing
using tools like
Postman, Swagger, or similar
, validating request/response payloads, status codes, and error handling.
Validate mobile applications across
iOS and Android platforms
, including UI/UX consistency, device compatibility, and functional flows.
Test web applications across different
browsers and devices
for responsiveness and compatibility.
Log, track, and verify defects using
JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
.
Collaborate with
developers, product owners, and business analysts
to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
Participate in
test planning, estimation, and test review sessions
.
Maintain
test documentation
(test cases, test reports, defect reports, traceability matrix).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
4–7 years of experience
in manual testing of
web, mobile, and APIs
.
Strong understanding of
SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
.
Proficiency in
API testing tools
(Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, etc.).
Experience with
mobile testing
(iOS and Android) including real devices and simulators/emulators.
Knowledge of
web testing
includes browser compatibility and responsive design testing.
Experience of Accessibility Testing
Familiarity with
test management tools
(JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work in
Agile/Scrum methodology
.
Good to Have (Optional)
Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
Soft Skills
Attention to detail and passion for quality.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Time management and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
