The Role
We're looking for a Head of Marketing to own the marketing function end-to-end. This is a senior leadership role for someone who has built and scaled marketing at a category-defining consumer brand. You'll lead a team of marketers, partner closely with the founder on brand and category strategy, and own the marketing P&L.
What You'll Own
Brand strategy, positioning, and category narrative — in partnership with the founder
Marketing P&L and budget allocation across all channels
Team leadership: hiring, growing, and mentoring senior marketers
Marketing operating cadence — planning, reviews, and decision-making rhythms
Cross-functional partnership with Sales, Product, and Academics
Who You Are
A senior marketing leader who has owned a full marketing function at scale
Strong track record in consumer internet, edtech, or D2C — ideally with a meaningful brand chapter
Equally comfortable with narrative and numbers — you can write a brand brief and read a CAC dashboard with the same fluency
Have built and scaled marketing teams; know how to hire senior marketers and grow them into leaders
Comfortable in a founder-led environment where brand strategy is a partnership
Bias for ownership and execution — you make calls and ship, not just opine
