JOB ID: HRD-L5-31 Job Title: Head of HR & HRMS Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of HR and HRMS to lead our Human Resources team and manage our HR Management System (HRMS) in an IT environment. This role is pivotal in shaping the HR strategy, overseeing all HR functions, and ensuring the effective implementation and utilization of the HRMS. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and extensive experience with HR technology and systems. Responsibilities: HR Strategy: Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company’s business goals and drive organizational growth. Policy Development: Design, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices. Organizational Development: Promote a positive organizational culture that aligns with the company’s values and mission. Support organizational change initiatives and manage change processes effectively. Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection. Onboarding: Ensure a smooth and effective onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and initial training. Employee Relations: Develop and implement employee engagement programs and activities. Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and effectively. Appraisals: Oversee the performance appraisal process, including setting objectives, conducting evaluations, and providing constructive feedback. Development Plans: Create and implement employee development plans and training programs to enhance skills and career growth. Succession Planning: Identify and develop high-potential employees for future leadership roles. HRMS Implementation: Lead the selection, implementation, and maintenance of the HR Management System (HRMS) to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency. System Administration: Ensure the HRMS is configured and used effectively to manage employee data, track performance, and generate reports. Data Analytics: Utilize HR data analytics to provide insights and support data-driven decision making. HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases. Reporting: Prepare and present HR reports and analytics to senior management to support data-driven decision making. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Experience: 12+ years of experience in HR roles, with at least 5 years in a senior HR management position, preferably within the IT or software industry. Extensive experience with HRMS implementation and management is essential. HRMS: Proficiency with HR Management Systems (HRMS) and other HR-related software. MS Office: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with using technology to streamline HR processes and enhance productivity. Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and mentoring HR teams. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and manage conflicts effectively. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Certifications: HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent.
