About the Role:
We are seeking a visionary
Head of Engineering
to lead our high-growth team through its next phase of evolution. This is a strategic leadership role for a seasoned technologist who possesses deep architectural expertise in
Blockchain and Generative AI
.
You are not just a manager of people, but an
architect of productivity
. You will be responsible for re-engineering our SDLC from the ground up—integrating GenAI agents into every facet of the development lifecycle to achieve 10x delivery speed without compromising on the 99.99% reliability our users demand.
Key Responsibilities
AI-Augmented SDLC Transformation:
Pioneer the "Centaur" engineering model. You will lead the implementation of LLM-powered agents for automated code reviews, synthetic test generation, and self-documenting codebases, shifting our human talent toward high-level design and complex problem-solving.
Technical Strategy & Architecture:
Own the long-term roadmap. Design and oversee secure, scalable blockchain architectures and high-availability systems capable of handling millions of transactions.
Engineering Excellence & "Player-Coach" Leadership:
Maintain elite technical standards. While your primary focus is leadership, you remain "technical enough" to perform deep-dive architectural reviews, solve mission-critical bottlenecks, and mentor staff on complex debugging.
Team Evolution & Culture:
Lead the strategic scaling of the engineering organization by prioritizing high talent density and "AI-native" workflows. You will foster a culture of high agency, accountability, and continuous improvement, ensuring the team maintains its startup velocity and "owner" mindset even as the complexity of the organization grows.
Strategic Stakeholder Partnership:
Act as the technical bridge to the Founders and Product leaders. Translate technical risks (especially in the volatile AI/Web3 space) into clear, actionable business outcomes.
Operational Rigor:
Establish squad-level metrics for quality and velocity. You will define what "good" looks like in an AI-assisted world, balancing rapid shipping with rigorous security protocols.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience:
12–15+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years in senior leadership (Director/Head level), ideally in high-growth startups or scale-ups.
AI & Web3 Fluent:
Proven track record of shipping products involving Blockchain protocols and Generative AI/LLM integration.
Scaling Success:
Demonstrated ability to scale systems (10x traffic growth) and teams (managing 45+ engineers) simultaneously.
The "Architect" Mindset:
You don't just use AI tools; you understand how to build workflows that leverage them to eliminate engineering toil.
Grit & Agency:
A hands-on leader who thrives in ambiguity and has the "grit" to solve the hardest technical and organizational puzzles.
