Job Purpose
To lead and drive the strategic direction, growth, and profitability of SAVA’s International Business across regulated and emerging markets. The role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in pharmaceutical business development, strong global networks, and deep understanding of CMO/CDMO operations.
Key Responsibilities
Spearhead international business development and sales with focus on global expansion and customer acquisition.
Strategically manage and expand business presence in regulated markets (Europe, US) and emerging regions (RoW, Asia, Africa).
Lead commercial strategy, including sales, marketing, and partner alliances, ensuring achievement of revenue and profitability goals.
Take complete P&L ownership for all International Business Units, ensuring financial and operational performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Regulatory Affairs, R&D, and Manufacturing to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive intelligence to shape strategic initiatives.
Drive a high-performance culture by leading, mentoring, and motivating international business teams across geographies.
Required Experience & Qualifications
15–20 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong focus on International Business and CDMO/CMO/CRO domains.
Demonstrated success in managing global operations, business development, and customer relationship management across Europe, the US, and other strategic markets.
Strong understanding of regulatory and commercial landscapes across multiple international geographies.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Business Management.
