Position Overview
The Head of Finance will provide strategic leadership in managing financial performance, compliance, and growth initiatives. The role covers financial planning, statutory compliance, debt and treasury management, ERP/SAP integration, and multi-company accounting. The Head of Finance will be a key business partner to the CEO, ensuring sustainable growth and strong governance.
Key Responsibilities
· Monitoring, preparation and maintenance of P&L and balance sheet.
· Ensure timely submission of financial statements, audits, and statutory records.
· Finalize accounts and ensure compliance with Income Tax, ROC, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
· Liasioning with various government representative such as Income Tax, GST, ROC, RBI authorities.
· Co-ordinating with internal and external auditors.
· Manage cash flow, working capital, banking, and debt restructuring to optimize costs.
· Project finance management.
· Oversee day-to-day finance operations, debtor management, and ERP/SAP-driven reporting.
· Provide accurate MIS and financial insights to management.
· Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives including expansion projects.
Qualifications & Experience
· Chartered Accountant (CA) required; Company Secretary (CS) would be an added advantage.
· 15+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably from phama background.
· Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or manufacturing preferred.
· Strong expertise in corporate, sales & manufacturing finance, taxation, and compliance.
· ERP/SAP exposure essential.
