Position Overview
The EV Charger Testing Engineer will be responsible for testing, validating, and troubleshooting AC/DC EV chargers, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and reliability standards. The role involves hands-on testing, data analysis, issue diagnosis, documentation, and supporting firmware/hardware teams during development and field deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in power electronics or EV charger testing.
Strong understanding of AC/DC power electronics (PFC, LLC, DC-DC, SMPS).
Experience with test equipment: DSO, power meter, thermal camera, HV probe, multimeter.
Ability to read schematics,
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Good communication and documentation skills
2. Troubleshooting & Analysis
Diagnose issues related to PFC, DC-DC, control boards, sensors, and MOSFET/IGBT failures.
Analyze test data, logs, and waveforms using an oscilloscope, DSO, logic analyzer, and power analyzers.
Support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
