Looking for candidates who can support strategic marketers with advanced analytics and data-driven insights, with experience in interpreting and validating research data, especially from surveys. This role will be central to designing, implementing, analyzing, and validating research surveys that inform marketing and brand strategy. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in survey methodologies and advanced statistical analysis, experienced with data validation and statistical testing, and passionate about distilling meaningful, actionable findings from diverse data sources.
Work you'll do
As a Specialist Manager, Marketing on the Brand Research & Insights team, you will be responsible for leading survey-based research that supports brand and marketing strategy through structured analysis and clear reporting.
Design and execute survey research programs for brand tracking, campaign measurement, customer insights, and market analysis
Translate business questions into survey instruments, sampling plans, data cuts, and analysis plans
Analyze survey datasets using statistical methods, including weighting, significance testing, segmentation, factor analysis, regression analysis, and conjoint analysis
Validate data quality through cleaning, response review, quota management, and survey performance tracking
Develop dashboards, presentations, and research outputs that convert findings into business insights for marketing stakeholders
The team
The Brand Research & Insights (BR&I) team is part of the broader Brand Marketing & Communications team. The USI BR&I team supports strategic marketers in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies and plans across industries, regions, and functions. The team provides a wide range of services, which help the Business Chief Marketing Officers, Strategic Marketers, and Partners, Principals, and Directors (PPDs) expand client relationships and build Deloitte’s presence and reputation in the market. It develops marketing and research-based insights through competitive intelligence reports, executive profiles, persona-based research, event analysis, research material, and marketing brochures to equip leadership teams to drive strategic initiatives and win business for the firm.

Qualifications
Required:
Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Market Research, or a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering
10+ years of professional experience
7+ years of primary quantitative marketing research experience
Experience designing and administering surveys using Qualtrics, Decipher, or another survey platform
Experience analyzing survey data using SPSS, SAS, R, or Python
Experience performing weighting, significance testing, segmentation, factor analysis, regression analysis, or conjoint analysis
Experience building research deliverables in Power BI, Tableau, or presentation tools
Preferred:
Experience supporting U.S. or global marketing teams
Experience in professional services or business-to-business marketing research
Experience using EIU, EMIS, Gartner, or IDC
Experience applying generative artificial intelligence tools to research workflows
Experience managing research vendors
