About SatSure
SatSure is a deep-tech, Decision Intelligence company operating at the nexus of agriculture, infrastructure, and climate action — creating impact for millions, with a focus on the developing world. We turn Earth observation data into actionable insights that drive decisions at scale. Join us to be at the forefront of building a deep-tech company from India that solves global problems.
About the Role
As a Senior Geospatial Solutions Engineer, you will be the technical backbone of SatSure's client engagements, partner integrations, and pre-sales efforts — especially across critical infrastructure, urban planning, and large-scale government programmes.
You will bridge deep geospatial engineering expertise with the ability to translate complex technical outputs into compelling, decision-ready demonstrations for enterprise and government clients.
You will lead Proof-of-Concept executions, design integration architectures, and help SatSure win and deliver high-value work by being both a builder and a trusted technical advisor to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Client & Partner Facing
Lead technical pre-sales engagements: Design and deliver demonstrations of SatSure's geospatial capabilities — including LiDAR-derived products, 3D terrain models, satellite analytics, and platform outputs — tailored to client verticals such as railways, roads, urban infrastructure, and utilities.
Execute Proof-of-Concept projects end-to-end: Own the scoping, data processing, analysis, and presentation of POCs that showcase SatSure's value to new and existing clients.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for partners and clients across GTM engagements, building long-term credibility through deep domain expertise.
Architect integration solutions: Work with client technical teams to design optimal data pipelines and integration approaches using SatSure's APIs, SDKs, and platform capabilities.
Support proposal and RFP responses with technical inputs, methodology notes, and solution design — particularly for government and infrastructure clients. Building & Engineering.
Build and process geospatial datasets using tools such as GDAL, PDAL, ArcGIS, QGIS, and ERDAS — including point cloud processing, DTM/DSM generation, LULC mapping, and change detection workflows.
Process and analyse LiDAR data for critical infrastructure applications: corridor mapping, clearance analysis, asset inventory, and terrain modelling for railways, highways, and urban environments.
Develop reusable, scalable geospatial pipelines and demo environments that can be deployed across client engagements.
Contribute to the evolution of SatSure's product and platform by translating field learnings into structured feedback for Engineering and Product teams. Internal Enablement
Enable Sales, Customer Success, and Partnerships teams through documentation, demo scripts, technical training, and integration best practices.
Capture detailed technical requirements from client engagements and translate them into product specifications and roadmap inputs.
Maintain and update integration solutions in line with product changes; troubleshoot regressions and deprecated functionality proactively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Remote Sensing, Civil/Geospatial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
5–8 years of hands-on technical experience in geospatial engineering, GIS solutions, or Earth observation — with demonstrated exposure to critical infrastructure projects.
Prior experience engaging with enterprise or government clients (railways, highways, urban bodies, utilities, defence) is strongly preferred.
Must-Have Skills:
LiDAR & Point Cloud Processing: Proficiency in PDAL, LAStools, or equivalent tools; experience with 3D modelling, classification, DTM/DSM generation, and infrastructure corridor analysis.
Core GIS Stack: Strong working knowledge of GDAL, ArcGIS (Pro/Server), QGIS, and spatial data formats (GeoTIFF, Shapefile, GeoPackage, LAS/LAZ, etc.).
Remote Sensing & Satellite Analytics: Experience working with multispectral, SAR, or hyperspectral data; familiarity with EO data platforms and APIs.
Geospatial Programming: Proficiency in Python (with GeoPandas, Rasterio, Shapely, or similar libraries) for building reproducible workflows and automating data pipelines.
API & Platform Integration: Understanding of REST APIs, SDKs, and cloud infrastructure as it relates to geospatial data delivery.
AI/ML Awareness: Familiarity with ML applications in geospatial contexts — classification, object detection, change detection — is a must.
Client-Facing Communication: Ability to present complex technical outputs clearly to non-technical decision-makers; experience building demos, technical proposals, and methodology documents.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables across different project stages with multiple external stakeholders simultaneously.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments; ability to turn high-level direction into structured action plans.
Benefits:
Medical health cover for you and your family, including unlimited online doctor consultations.
Access to mental health support for you and your family.
Dedicated allowances for learning and skill development.
