POSITION SUMMARY:
BOT VFX, a visual effects services company with global clients, is looking for a
Generative Artist
as a full-time
Permanent
role. The position is based out of Chennai and Coimbatore.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Generating production-ready AI assets including images, video, and supporting visuals using commercial and open-source models.
Evaluating and selecting specific models based on fidelity, prompt responsiveness, style control, and deployment constraints.
Crafting advanced workflows for text-to-image, image-to-image, inpainting, outpainting, and multi-pass generation.
Utilizing LLMs to develop structured prompts, refine creative direction, and automate iterative output curation.
Collaborating with technical and creative teams to ensure AI outputs align strictly with production requirements.
Demonstrating expertise in model capabilities regarding realism versus stylization and varied interpretation approaches.
Staying updated with emerging generative models and tools to maintain a competitive edge in production workflows.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Experience: 3+ years of experience in VFX, design, motion, concept art, or professional digital production.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with multiple generative AI platforms and strong understanding of prompt engineering.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in integrating AI outputs into professional tools such as Photoshop, After Effects, Nuke, or Blender.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of LoRA usage, ControlNet workflows, style conditioning, and model customization.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with automation tools, workflow orchestration, and LLM-assisted creative workflows.
Soft Skills: Ability to analyze output differences across models and adapt prompting strategies accordingly.
Soft Skills: Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, iterative production environments.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of composition, lighting, mood, cinematic language, and model limitations like hallucination behavior.
