Functional Lead – AR, RMCS, Advanced Collections0
Key Responsibilities
1. Functional Leadership
Lead end-to-end implementation and support of AR, RMCS, and Collections modules
Act as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for revenue lifecycle processes
Collaborate with finance, IT, and business stakeholders
2. Requirements & Solution Design
Gather and document business requirements
Translate requirements into functional designs and system configurations
Design solutions aligned with accounting standards (e.g.,
IFRS 15
/
ASC 606
)
3. Accounts Receivable (AR)
Configure invoicing, receipts, credit management, and customer accounts
Manage billing processes and dispute resolution workflows
Ensure accurate cash application and reconciliation
4. RMCS (Revenue Management)
Implement revenue recognition rules and allocation methods
Handle multi-element arrangements and deferred revenue
Ensure compliance with revenue accounting standards
5. Advanced Collections
Configure collection strategies, scoring, and dunning processes
Monitor aging reports and optimize collection effectiveness
Work with customers and internal teams to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
6. System Implementation & Support
Lead system configuration, SIT, UAT, and deployment
Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvements
Troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate with technical teams
7. Stakeholder Management
Communicate with business leaders, finance teams, and external clients
Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfers
Required Skills & Qualifications
Functional Skills
Strong expertise in AR, billing, revenue recognition, and collections
Deep knowledge of RMCS concepts and compliance requirements
Understanding of financial processes and accounting principles
Technical / ERP Skills
Experience with ERP systems (e.g.,
Oracle Fusion Financials
)
Configuration knowledge of AR, RMCS, and Collections modules
Familiarity with integrations and reporting tools
Soft Skills
Leadership and team management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Experience
7–12+ years in Finance/ERP consulting or implementation
Hands-on experience with AR and revenue management modules
Experience leading at least 1–2 end-to-end ERP implementations
Nice to Have
CPA / CA / MBA (Finance)
Exposure to automation, AI in collections, or analytics tools
Experience in industries like SaaS, telecom, or subscription-based models
