As a Software Engineer II, you will develop scalable full stack solutions using Node.js, Express, and React.js across enterprise environments. You will use AI-enabled development tools, modern engineering practices, and containerized deployment approaches to help deliver secure, high-quality products. In this role, you will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to solutions that combine engineering, analytics, and emerging technologies.
Work you'll do
As a Software Engineer II on the IDT team, you will be responsible for:
Designing, developing, and maintaining full stack web applications using Node.js, Express, and React.js
Building and integrating RESTful APIs, backend services, and responsive user interfaces
Translating approved UI/UX designs into functional frontend components and application workflows
Supporting application quality through testing, code review, CI/CD practices, and performance optimization
Collaborating with product, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions in an agile environment

Qualifications
Required:
3-5 years of experience in full stack engineering roles
Experience developing APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express
Experience building frontend applications using React.js and JavaScript or TypeScript
Experience using Docker, Git, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience working with relational databases, NoSQL databases, and caching tools
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical field
Ability to travel 0%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Preferred:
Experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, or other AI-enabled development tools
Experience deploying applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience with Kubernetes, artifact management tools, or DevOps toolchains
Experience with agentic artificial intelligence architectures or workflow orchestration
Experience with secrets management tools such as Doppler
