You will build high-quality, scalable, and secure software that powers enterprise data exchange for more than 1,000 customers worldwide.</p> <p>As a Software Engineer on the team, you will help build secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise software that enables our customers to automate their most critical data exchange workflows.</p> <ul> <li>Develop backend services and microservices using&nbsp;<strong>Java/Spring Boot</strong></li> <li>Solid understanding of <strong>object-oriented programming </strong>(OOP), design patterns, and software architecture principles.</li> <li>Implement and consume RESTful APIs to integrate with customer systems</li> <li>Enhance monitoring, logging, and observability of the platform</li> <li>Ensure security and compliance across file transfer workflows</li> <li>Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code</li> <li>Work closely with senior engineers and gain exposure to architectural decision-making</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><em>YOUR EXPERIENCE</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field</li> <li>2–4+ years professional software engineering experience or equivalent project work</li> <li>Strong coding skills in Java, with familiarity in Spring Boot and REST APIs</li> <li>Understanding of SQL and relational database concepts, NoSQL familiarity</li> <li>Experience developing modern user interfaces with industry frameworks and technologies (React).</li> <li>Knowledge of <strong>agile </strong>development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with <strong>cloud platforms </strong>(AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with automated unit and integration test frameworks</li> <li>Interest in secure file transfer protocols and enterprise software design</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><div class="css-1i27f3a"> <div class="css-ey7qxc"> <div class="css-1s1axh3" data-automation-id="jobPostingDescription"> <p><em>If you like growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>THE LEGAL BIT</strong><br>Redwood is an equal opportunity employer.
