Position Summary Level:  Managed Services Engineer III or equivalent   As an experienced Managed Services Engineer III  at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.  Work you’ll do: Architect, build, and maintain scalable Ember.js applications, selecting appropriate patterns for routing, rendering/performance, state management, data loading, and deployments.  Own front-end standards: component architecture, design system integration, accessibility, performance, and secure coding best practices.  Define and roll out GenAI-assisted workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI test assistants, GenAI APIs) for coding, reviews, testing, and documentation—ensuring human verification and reproducible engineering outcomes.  Lead quality strategy: unit/integration/acceptance testing, end-to-end (E2E) testing, CI quality gates, and regression prevention.  Establish Responsible AI guardrails: secure prompt practices, approved usage patterns, and clear “when not to use AI” guidelines.  Mentor and upskill team members; run enablement sessions, create playbooks, and coach through code reviews—modeling strong engineering practices across both GenAI and core front-end technologies.  Improve continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, leveraging AI where beneficial.  Oversee advanced version control strategies and enforce rigorous code quality standards.  Drive production readiness: monitoring/alerting collaboration, error tracking, performance monitoring, and incident response participation for front-end services.  Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into delivery plans; provide estimation, sequencing, risk/issue management, and clear technical communication through demos and written updates—incorporating relevant GenAI advances into business and technical processes.  The team: Our Digital Foundry Operate & Innovations (DFO&I) team partners with organizations to rapidly design, build, and scale digital products and experiences that drive business growth and elevate customer engagement. By bridging the gap between strategy and execution, we empower organizations to achieve measurable outcomes and deliver exceptional customer experiences in an ever-evolving digital landscape.    Qualifications Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications: 6-9 years of front-end experience, including deep hands-on delivery and expertise in Ember.js.   Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.   Strong proficiency in TypeScript and/or modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS; experience with component libraries/design systems.   Demonstrated evidence of improved outcomes (quality, speed, maintainability) through integrating GenAI tools into day-to-day development (mandatory), with a clear understanding of risks and controls.   Advanced experience with modern CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and Git workflows.   Proven mentoring/technical leadership experience (formal or informal).   Strong stakeholder communication skills (requirements clarification, trade-offs, executive-ready updates).   Strong grasp of web performance and optimization techniques.   Knowledge of front-end security fundamentals and secure API integration patterns. Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications: Deep familiarity with modern Ember patterns (e.g., Octane, Glimmer components, tracked properties) and long-te rm maintainability practices.   Experience with Ember CLI, build tooling, dependency management, and upgrading legacy Ember applications (codemods, deprecations, major version migrations).  Strong experience with Ember Data (REST/JSON:API) and/or GraphQL integration patterns.  Experience with authentication and secure front-end practices (OAuth/OIDC, JWT/session management; OWASP basics).  Observability experience (logging, error tracking, performance monitoring/RUM).  Contributions to AI/open-source projects or the developer community.  Experience in prompt engineering and/or building internal tooling with GenAI APIs.  Education:    BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university       Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai
