Work you'll do
As a Software Specialist Engineer II on the IT Services team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting modern web-based applications in an Azure environment.
Design and develop single-page applications using Angular 2+ and .NET technologies, including
ASP.NET
MVC, .NET Core, C#, SQL, JSON, and Web API
Build and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available Azure solutions using platform-as-a-service and infrastructure-as-a-service services
Define and implement application and infrastructure migration approaches for workloads moving to Microsoft Azure
Develop automation to support continuous integration and continuous delivery processes
Collaborate with product owners and architects to deliver features, resolve issues across development, test, and production environments, and strengthen monitoring, logging, and audit capabilities

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology
6-8 years of experience developing web applications in an enterprise environment
Experience designing and developing applications using C#,
ASP.NET
MVC, .NET Core, Angular 2+, SQL, JSON, and Web API
Experience designing and developing Microsoft Azure platform-as-a-service and infrastructure-as-a-service services, including Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Data Factory
Experience with Azure database technologies, including SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Data Lake
Experience with software development life cycle, test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery pipelines
Experience supporting high-availability, multi-data-center, or hybrid cloud environments, including troubleshooting across application and infrastructure layers
Preferred:
Experience with PowerShell scripting
Experience with Azure monitoring tools
Experience with containerization and orchestration of web services
Experience with Git version control systems
Experience with Azure infrastructure services, including virtual machines, virtual networks, user-defined routes, Azure Site Recovery, Traffic Manager, Azure Automation, Storage, Azure Resource Manager templates, load balancers, API Gateway, and Azure Active Directory
Experience with network and security technologies, including Internet Protocol Security, virtual LANs, virtual private networks, routing, firewalls, proxy services, and local area network/wide area network connectivity
