Job Description
We are looking for a
Frontend-focused Junior MERN Stack Developer
with 1 -2 year of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in
React.js
and modern frontend development, with basic exposure to backend technologies such as
Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to real-world web applications.
Key Responsibilities
Frontend (Primary Focus)
Develop and maintain responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using
React.js
Build reusable UI components and manage application state using
Redux / Redux Toolkit
Implement clean and consistent UI designs using
Material UI (MUI)
Ensure responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
Integrate frontend components with backend APIs
Assist in implementing real-time UI features using
Socket.io
Work closely with UI/UX designers and senior developers
Backend & Database (Secondary Focus)
Support backend development using
Node.js and Express.js
Assist in developing and consuming
RESTful APIs
Work with
MongoDB
and
MySQL / PostgreSQL
for basic data operations
Write simple queries and assist in data modeling
Learn and follow best practices for performance and security
Required Skills & Qualifications
Frontend Skills (Must-Have)
1 - 2 year of experience in
React.js
or frontend development (internship/project experience acceptable)
Good understanding of
JavaScript (ES6+)
Basic experience with
Redux or Redux Toolkit
Familiarity with
Material UI (MUI)
or similar UI libraries
Understanding of
HTML5, CSS3
, and responsive design principles
Basic knowledge of integrating APIs in frontend applications
Willingness to learn frontend optimization and best practices
Backend & Database Skills (Good to Have)
Basic understanding of
Node.js
and
Express.js
Familiarity with
MongoDB
Basic knowledge of
MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
Understanding of RESTful APIs
Awareness of authentication and security fundamentals
