We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our team in Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road Chennai, India. As a key member of our hospitality management team, you will oversee all aspects of our food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.
Direct and coordinate all food and beverage operations across multiple outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banquets
Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, service excellence, and hygiene throughout all F&B areas
Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other departments to create innovative dining experiences and promotional events
Develop and manage F&B budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue
Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of F&B staff to deliver outstanding service
Oversee inventory management, supplier relations, and purchasing processes
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge
Implement and maintain quality control and performance measurement systems
Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or in a similar senior F&B role
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is a plus
In-depth knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and best practices
Demonstrated ability in financial management, including budgeting and cost control
Proficiency in inventory management and familiarity with POS systems
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field; relevant certifications are a plus
Exceptional customer service orientation with a track record of enhancing guest experiences
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Proven skills in conflict resolution and problem-solving in high-pressure environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and hospitality management software
