We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Lead for our AFS Operations in Bengaluru, India. As a Floor Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily production activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards in our advanced manufacturing facility.
Lead and manage a team of production operators, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback
Coordinate daily production activities to meet targets and deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure product consistency and customer satisfaction
Collaborate with other departments to optimize production schedules and workflow
Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the production area
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
Train and develop team members on new processes, equipment, and safety procedures
Maintain accurate production records and generate reports for management review
Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Proven track record of leading teams and improving operational efficiency
Strong knowledge of quality control processes and continuous improvement methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in manufacturing software and tools
Experience with Lean Six Sigma principles (Lean Six Sigma certification preferred)
In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements in a production environment
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required
Willingness to relocate to or currently reside in Bengaluru, India
