About this role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Fire Officer to join our team in Grand Mercure Ahmedbad GIFT City. As part of your role, you will be working in a security department, where you will be protecting people and assets from injury or loss caused by fire or accident. You will also reduce reputational and financial risks while protecting information and assets in or around the premises. Your work will ensure the team’s operational success and service delivery. As a Fire Officer, you will be responsible for the safety of personnel and assets, which requires you to access, work, and egress in all areas of hotel.  Responsibilities :   Conduct regular inspections to identify and eliminate fire hazards within the hotel premises. Ensure all fire safety systems are tested, maintained, and fully operational at all times. Develop and implement fire emergency plans, including regular fire drills and evacuation procedure evaluations. Train employees on fire safety, basic firefighting, rescue procedures, and maintain adequate First Aid support. Establish and lead a fire safety committee with representatives from various hotel departments. Enforce fire safety policies, prepare safety manuals, and ensure compliance with fire code occupancy regulations. Coordinate with external authorities such as the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and report fire safety matters to management. Supervise firefighting and evacuation during emergencies, remain on-call for incidents, and ensure operational continuity through proper delegation and adherence to hotel policies.
